Commissions
Some paintings are waiting to be asked for. If you have a wall, a story, or a feeling that needs a world of its own — I take a small number of commissions each year.
How it works
- We talk. You write to me — the wall, the mood, what the painting should hold. No art vocabulary needed.
- I sketch. You receive a concept sketch and a fixed price. When the direction feels right — the layout, the palette, the mood — a 30% deposit is your yes, and the painting begins.
- I paint, you watch. Progress photos along the way — the studio comes to you.
- You decide. When it's finished, you receive a photo of the painting. Pay the rest and it's yours — you never pay the balance for a painting you haven't seen.
- It arrives. Tracked, with its certificate and story.
Price orientation
Most commissions land between €800 and €3,000 depending on size and complexity; timeline is usually 6–10 weeks.
One honest note: a commission is painted just for you. The deposit is your yes to the sketch's direction, and it stays with the work — it isn't refundable, because the materials and weeks it carries can't be un-spent. The balance, though, is only ever paid for a finished painting you've seen and want. And because a commission is made to order, the shop's 14-day return doesn't apply here; your legal rights regarding defects or damage in transit always do. The full details live in the terms of sale.
